Construction Guide

Planning and installation sequence.

The steps keep the catalogue's technical intent while making the text readable on desktop and mobile.

01

Prepare the layout

Position slabs on top of the grass according to the desired layout. Mark around each slab with a flat spade or lawn edging cutter.

02

Excavate the marked area

Move the slab aside and remove the top surface of lawn and soil to a depth of 70-100mm.

03

Build the bedding

Fill the excavated hole with fine gravel, 3-6mm grain size, to a depth of 50-80mm and compact it to create a flat, stable support.

04

Set and level the slab

Lower the slab into position and gently tap it with a rubber mallet until level.

05

Protect the mower path

Keep the slab surface approximately 5-8mm below the surrounding soil so lawnmowers do not strike the edge.

06

Finish the perimeter

Fill small gaps around the tile with previously excavated soil where needed.

Project Notes

Checks before final confirmation.

Use these notes during sample confirmation, quotation and installer coordination.

Drainage check

Drainage check

Outdoor porcelain is waterproof, so even loose-laid lawn paving should allow rainwater to drain away from the walking route.

Seasonal maintenance

Seasonal maintenance

Keep grass edges trimmed and re-check bedding stability after heavy rain or seasonal soil movement.
